"When your livelihood depends on something, there's a good chance you're going to figure out how to get it done."
For Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Seth Minter, that saying applies to both himself and his clients. Making a career change after coaching women's basketball at the collegiate level, he shared some important lessons with us. Seth emphasized the value of giving his best to his clients: establishing trust with confidentiality, giving value in his service, and knowing his limitations.
Seth Minter & Matt Lawver work out the same Edward Jones office, and welcomed our team earlier this week. They started the morning having conversations as they would with a new client - talking about personal goals, values, and hobbies. Then the discussion shifted to a 3-step process ensuring financial stability. At the end, we took our guesses on how the markets would open that day, and watched the ticker as trading began at 8:30.
Seth & Matt are no strangers to the CEO Program. They have both served as mentors (Seth in Hancock County, Matt here in McDonough County). Seth continues his support as an investor for program, while Matt serves on our CEO Board of Directors. We appreciate their life lessons, engagement, and continued involvement with McDonough County CEO!
