These are all questions impacted by the supply chain. Whether we realize it or not, supply chain management affects many aspects of business development! As our team members are thinking about how they get supplies or equipment, and distribute products or implement services, it’s important to take a moment to learn how the supply chain impacts them.

Our local resident expert, Dr. Honey Zimmerman, Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at WIU, made a complicated subject more interesting and easier to understand. She left us with this thought: “There are two ways to make money. Increase revenue or decrease costs.” And of course, studying the supply chain impacting your own business can make all the difference.
