Setting prices… how do you figure?

Today’s session was all about calculating the cost of goods sold, price setting, and being a critical consumer & business owner. Angela Hance, whom we met when we visited Dough Delights in December, shared real examples from her own business. She made a complicated topic easier to understand with relatable concepts.

As the team is on the path to building their own businesses, this is an important step in figuring out how to turn a profit. Angela left us with an adage shared by her grandfather that applies in so many areas: “Mind the pennies, and the dollars will take care of themselves.”
