"You can either get paid what the job is worth, or you can get paid what you are worth. If you're self-employed, you can determine your own worth."

Dennie & Linda King started a business 40 years ago focused on athletic apparel, which quickly turned into screen printing (and more!). Now, their t-shirt/apparel/print business is evolving with DTF (direct-to-film) transfer technology. MIDSTATE GRAPHICS prints t-shirts and signage for local athletic teams, school groups, politicians, and businesses.

The Kings have operated multiple businesses through the years, and take pride in their work. Self-employment was always the goal for them. They provided another great example of how to build a business based on word-of-mouth. Thanks to Dennie & Linda for showing us around, and for the wearable souvenir!
