More than ten years ago, Steve & Lisa took the leap and created Purple Prairie Lavender Farm, LLC near Good Hope. This morning, Steve walked us around their farm and gave us a great overview of how they’ve developed and grown the business. We learned a lot about the different varieties of lavender plants, what it takes to keep them healthy, and the process of harvesting and pruning.
We stepped inside their little shop to see all the products they personally make with their own lavender. Steve & Lisa truly have their hands on every aspect of this business. It is clear that they take great pride in their work, and we had a perfect morning to see it first hand.
