Emily Gamage, co-owner of The Old Dairy with husband Marc, shared her experience of starting out as an employee in college to assuming ownership of this popular local business. As a transplant from the Chicago suburbs, her hard work, passion for the restaurant, and community support have kept her here more than a decade later. It's the consistency in the little things that have made The Old Dairy a mainstay in the community.
She shared her perspectives on balancing family life, setting boundaries with work hours, and trying to anticipate extra expenses and challenges that come with business ownership and management. It was a very real look at what it takes to keep things running and people happy!
