First Friday: Teambuilding Day!
We got a little more comfortable today, literally and figuratively. With the help of Dr. Megan Jones-Owens and Emma Bird from the WIU Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration Department, we learned more about each other (and ourselves!) in many ways. We practiced introductions and remembering information. Team members shared their strengths, their challenges, and qualities they aspire to have. They completed an exercise of blindly trusting each other and acknowledged some fears that go along with that.
The jokes and laughter that we shared this morning is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing more about this team with you throughout the year!
