It was a busy week in ceo, so here’s a quick recap…
Monday: business visit and tour with Royal Printing in Macomb. Andrew Asbury showed us around and explained how the business has evolved since his family created it 1991, taking on multiple locations like the one in Macomb.
Tuesday: Resume Writing Workshop with Michelle Milstead-Howe, Certified Professional Resume Writer, via zoom with several other CEO Programs. Perfect timing to get those resumes ready for college & scholarship apps and summer jobs.
Wednesday: site visit with City of Bushnell Police and Chief Justin Hood. Chief Hood shared his unconventional rise to his current position, reminding us that a non-traditional path can be just as valuable. We got to test out our ability to spot fake currency, and learned more about city & police operations.
Thursday: Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship National Pitch Competition finals (via zoom). We may not have had any finalists this year, but we are so proud of our team members and how they created their own 30-second pitches.
